Organized by the Team Sportscast Network, PlanetTribes.com, TribalWar.com, and Euro-TribesPlayers.com, the second-annual worldwide competition will match up over 400 players on 16 teams over 100 days in an online battle royale to determine the best action gamers on the planet.

TDK today announced that "Dinotopia: The Timestone Pirates" for the Game Boy Advance will ship in April 2002. The release coincides with the premiere of the six-hour Dinotopia mini-series from Hallmark Entertainment which will air on the ABC television network starting May 12. In addition, ABC and Hallmark have announced the start of production of an all new Dinotopia television series.
Ubi Soft Entertainment has signed a worldwide licensing deal with Universal Studios Consumer Products Group to bring the children’s animated TV series, The Mummy, to the Game Boy Advance hand-held video game system. The Mummy has just been picked up for a second season by the WB, the #1 rated broadcast network for kids in the United States. It is also currently aired on Nickelodeon in Australia, BBC and the Kids Channel in the United Kingdom and Canal J in France.

Microsoft today announced that at an undisclosed time on Friday, Feb 22, gamers will be able to sign up for the chance to win a sneak preview copy of Dungeon Siege HERE or any of 19 other participating games sites. A select group of gamers will win an exclusive sneak preview copy of this highly anticipated game. Those who hope to be among the first to play Dungeon Siege will want to check the sites frequently, as the sign-up will be posted at an unspecified time.
