LucasArts Announces 'Wrath'

Lucasarts has just announced that they’ve sign an agreement with The Collective for the publishing rights to Wrath. Wrath, one of the most sought after games in the industry, is an arcade-style game that utilizes turn-based gameplay with both action and strategy. Expected in 2003 on all next-gen platforms.

'Warrior Kings' Hits North America

After being released earlier in Europe, Microïds' newest real-time strategy title, Warrior Kings, has hit the North American store shelves today. The US and Canadian versions of the game have been upgraded and a patch (1.3) will shortly be available to resolve all existing issues with the game. Warrior Kings is entering the North American market as one of the most anticipated title of the year and has already received some great reviews and accolades from US and European publications. The game has been a sales success in Europe with over 100,000 copies sold in less than two months on the East side of the Atlantic Ocean. "Warrior Kings is a true RTS, not a tactical skirmish game. From building an economy through to structuring large armies, Warrior Kings bridges the gap between the tactical game and the full on strategic real time War Game."

For 4 days, the prestigious Newbury Racecourse, became the centre of attention for over 900 hardcore gamers, armed with their PC's, cans of coke, and sleeping bags.i10, the UK's largest LAN event, saw the army of gamers, play, sleep, drink, and eat, their way through 4 days of intense gaming action. 'Beam Breakers' English Demo Available NOW

BonusWeb just informed us that the English demo of Beam Breakers is now available for download. The demo is available in 2 versions : with DirectX (137.7 MB) and without DirectX (113.1 MB). The English version has 3 missions, a training map and 2 multiplayer maps. You can choose between 4 different cars (unlike the german demo which only had 2). Zengamers "Cenk" send us a note about that they previewed the latest build of Bethesda Softwork’s upcoming RPG, Morrowind. Here is a clip from the preview:
