TDK Mediactive Inc. today announced "Robotech: Battlecry" for the PlayStation2 and Xbox has gone gold and into manufacturing in preparation of shipping to major retail outlets nationwide. The Xbox and PlayStation 2 ships later this month, the GameCube and Game Boy Advance versions following in October. Thats about all the info we have on it for now ...

We received a 4MB trailer today from Ubi Soft and their upcoming X-Box/PC title "Splinter Cell". The trailer runs for nearly 2 minutes and showing of some gameplay footage. Splinter Cell is a third person stealth action game featuring cyber-terrorism, shadow agencies, and covert operations, and is set in the realistic, highly detailed geopolitical universe as portrayed by Tom Clancy. Rocky (Xbox) - Screen Gallery

The Rocky series of games are based on the movie anthology starring Sylvester Stallone and feature all of the lead characters from the five Rocky films - Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang, Ivan Drago and Tommy Gunn. Rocky is scheduled for simultaneous release on the Sony PS2, Xbox, GameCube and Game Boy Advance in Europe and North America in November 2002. We had some screens up yesterday and today we have 46 more from Rocky vs. Drago, Clubber and Apollo Creed... Njoy!

As the tension mounts for the September 27th release of Prisoner Of War on PC CD-ROM, Codemasters has released a new PC video of gameplay. Prisoner of War is already a massive success on PlayStation 2 and Xbox. The PC edition of the game will be launched on September 27 and carry a RRP of £34.99.

Microsoft Game Studios announced today that it is currently developing a massively multiplayer online role-playing game in conjunction with Level-5 Inc., tentatively titled “True Fantasy Live Online" that is compatible with the Xbox online gaming service, Xbox Live. "True Fantasy Live Online" will utilize broadband and voice chat features to provide an online gaming experience only possible on Xbox Live. This game will be shown to the public at Tokyo Game Show 2002 starting on September 20, 2002. Check the first screens!

The UNITY Operatives have uncovered several internal confidential memorandums and phone taps revealing that Sierra and Fox Interactive are planning to release the highly anticipated No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way Demo sometime in the next week! All UNITY Operatives in training have had the chance to face off with the H.A.R.M. Ninjas while overcoming a treacherous tornado on the recent mission to Ohio. All UNITY Operatives in training will have to get ready for the three new levels and be prepared to face even more dangerous H.A.R.M. foes. The countdown to launch has begun! EA announced today that the massively multiplayer online role-playing galaxy, Earth & Beyond, has gone gold and will ship to stores in North America Sept. 24.
