'TacOps' – Play The Wargame That Professionals Use!

The Australian Headquarters Training Command Army (HQTC-A) has now formally accepted TacOps 4 as meeting contract requirements for an Australian/New Zealand version of TacOps under the working title of "TacOps ANZAC (v4& v5)". This version is now available for issue to all members of the Australian and New Zealand Defence Forces. The final ANZAC version v5 will likely include enhancements that are under concurrent development for the v5 retail edition of TacOps and for the official US Marine Corps v5 edition "TacOpsMC". The v5 retail edition of TacOps will be available later this year only from Battlefront.com, and will not be available in stores.

Mythic Entertainment Teams Up With iGames

Mythic Entertainment, developer and publisher of Dark Age of Camelot, has joined forces with iGames, an association of game centers which works on behalf of independent and franchised game centers to organize promotions and to bring games and hardware into local enters. The two companies plan to collaborate on a series of online events to be held at iGames' member locations.

'Blupimania 2' is a real brain-crusher. In this original puzzle game, you have to solve different kinds of puzzles. Some are easy, but don't be fooled, some are really hard. Blupi, the little round yellow fellow climbs onto a really high tower. Each floor is a game level with a puzzle that has to be solved. You must help Blupi find his balloon. 'RtCW: Tides Of War' (Xbox) - New Downloadable Content

Activision and id Software announced today the release of the first downloadable map for RtCW: Tides of War. The new Xbox-exclusive, multiplayer level titled Barn is now available via Xbox Live. Developed by Nerve Software, RtCW: Tides of War is presently available nationwide for the Xbox for a suggested retail price of $49.99 and is rated "M" for mature by the ESRB. The new map thrusts Tides of War players into a winner-take-all battle to locate and destroy a cache of ammunition secretly held by Axis forces, who intend to re-supply battle-weary troops on the front lines. The Allied squad must use well-coordinated teamwork and overwhelming firepower to infiltrate the Axis held barn and destroy the weapons cache.

CDV sent out word that they have a released a new (UK, French & German)) patch for Battlefront's strategy title Combat Mission 2. The update brings your retail game to v1.03 and brings several game tweaks such as "Russian blunt-nose APBC ammo is reduced in effectiveness versus homogenous armor (e.g. Tiger, late StuG III) but increased versus face-hardened armor (some Pz IV, early/mid StuG III)." Crashday puts the player in a world of stunts, dents and adrenalin. His task is to scrap his vehicle with breathtaking stunts or to wreck cars in aggressive street races, showing his opponents that they made a fatal mistake in choosing him as their enemy. The storyline follows the player through the major actions in the conflict, from search and destroy missions around Danang airbase to the Tet offensive and the counterattack on Hue. A cast of AI controlled characters accompanies the player through the missions, and he learns their value and mourns their loss as the war progresses. The game will support a cooperative mode that allows the player to experience the entire tour of duty with his friends, and various multiplayer modes allow the player to experience the war from the perspective of North Vietnamese Army or Viet Cong guerillas as well as US Forces.
