The official IL-2 Sturmovik website has been updated and has mention of an upcoming patch for UbiSoft's WWII Flight Simulator game. The first patch for IL-2 Forgotten Battles is currently being finished and is planned to be released during the week commencing 4 August 2003 (thanks Bluesnews). Sony Pictures has released the new Half-Life mod Underworld: Bloodline, a team based horror themed mod with two maps that is serving as a free promo for the upcoming action-horror film Underworld. Underworld Bloodline is a teamplay game similar to Capture the Flag, but uses a live target instead of a flag. Noted crime writer Max Allan Collins ('Road to Perdition') has revealed to CSIFiles.com that UBI Soft is producing a second 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' computer game: "I'm working on the second UBI Soft game now," he said. "I have a more active role, consulting on the stories themselves; last time, they brought me in to write the dialogue, though I did repair some plot holes, too."
