Konami Announces 'Silent Hill' Movie

Konami of America, Inc. today announced that its hit psychological horror videogame series, Silent Hill, will be released worldwide as a major motion picture. Production company Davis Films will produce the feature film adaptation of Konami's popular franchise. Produced by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo, Inc. (KCET), the Silent Hill games thrust players into a nightmarish world where they must unravel twisted storylines and battle grotesque creatures and terrifying monsters.

'Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader' - Update Patch Available NOW

Special Limited Edition Games Pack For PS2

Some of the nation's favourite video games are to be sold in a special pack to raise money for young people's charities. The video games industry's official charity, the ESC (Entertainment Software Charity), has lined up a special limited edition games pack for the PlayStation 2 which will be in all video games stockists from 26th September.

ESCAPE 2003 Special Edition pack will comprise three titles: Commandos 2: Men of Courage from Eidos, WRC II Extreme from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and SSX Tricky from Electronic Arts.

'Spyro: Adventure' Coming To GBA

CDV announced today that the 3D action shooter BREED will be released by the beginning of November. In UK and in USA the release will also take place in November. NCsoft Announces 'Lineage: Dark Conquest' - Screens

NCsoft today announced the latest chapter to its massively multiplayer game, Lineage. The new epic, called Lineage: Dark Conquest (www.lineage.com), is a series of six new episodes to be released over the next three years. Namco & Hip Interactive Deal To Bring Video Game Franchises To PC

Namco Hometek Inc. announced today that it has expanded its relationship with Hip Interactive Corp to license several of Namco's key video-game properties for the PC. Hip Interactive will develop and distribute PC versions of "kill.switch," "Extreme Force: Grant City Anti-Crime" (working title) and "PAC-MAN WORLD 2" in North America and Europe in 2004. As previously announced, Hip Interactive will be releasing another top Namco franchise, "Dead to Rights" for PC in North America and Europe in fall 2003.

THQ Ships 'BIONICLE' For Game Boy Advance

THQ Inc today announced the release of BIONICLE for Game Boy Advance. BIONICLE, the second title under THQ's multi-title exclusive publishing agreement with LEGO Interactive, is now available at retail outlets nationwide.
