Zuxxez has released a new patch for their 2000/2002 strategy games 'Earth 2150: Moon Project' & 'Earth 2150: Lost Souls' (at the time developed under the name TopWare). TDK revealed today that Goth-Metal band 'Within Temptation' has signed on to deliver the soundtrack for Starbreeze's 3rd Person Fantasy Action-Adventure 'Knights Of The Temple'. Within Temptation will release a new single "Running Up The Hill", the music video, inspired by the game, was shot in a medieval church. Additionally they will also release an updated music video for their hit single "Mother Earth" featuring gameplay footage as promo material for the upcoming PC/Xbox game, which is due Q4 2003.

Ubisoft's Financial Statement Reveals 'Prince Of Persia' Sequel

Ubisoft today announced third quarter sales for the fiscal year 2003/04 in which they reveal that their sales increased about 30% over last year, mainly due to a 50% growth in Europe. Sales for titles such as XIII and Beyond Good & Evil were lower than expected, and their financial statement also revealed a sequel for the hit title Prince Of Persia is already in the works. Arkane To Develop With HalfLife 2's Source Engine

Valve today announced a Source Engine licensing partnership with Arkane Studios, creators of Arx Fatalis. Already in development, Arkane's Source-based project is targeted for the PC. Valve's Source Engine Technology, the same used to create Half-Life 2, gives developers the ability to create expressive digital actors and physically simulated worlds. It also offers advanced rendering capabilities and the industry's most convincing artificial intelligence.

'Big Huge Games' Licenses SpeedTree for New Project

Big Huge Games, developer of the Rise of Nation strategy game, has licensed SpeedTree for an upcoming game title. "We chose SpeedTree for the phenomenal CAD abilities of the program, which we've used to create believable and compelling environments for our next game," said Big Huge Games founder and Vice President Tim Train. "This software package has saved us invaluable time. Once we had tried the free evaluation version, we knew we had to upgrade to the full product." Big Huge Games has not revealed the name or any details of the new title.
