'The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion' (X360/PC) - 2 New Screens

You are given the task of finding the hidden heir to a throne that sits empty, the previous emperor having been killed by an unknown assassin. SEGA Europe and Sports Interactive are delighted to confirm that last Friday's UK launch of Football Manager 2006 has netted retail sales of over 100,000 units during its first weekend of release according to Chart-Track retail estimates. Storming the PC chart at No.1, Football Manager 2006 is now the 2nd fastest-selling PC game of all time in the UK.

'Half-Life 2: Lost Coast' Now Available Through Steam

Valve announced that Half-Life 2: Lost Coast, a single-player level custom-created to showcase High-Dynamic Range lighting (HDR) in the Source engine, is available now to all owners of HL2. As a technology showcase, Half-Life 2: Lost Coast's system requirements are very high. During installation, Steam will prompt you if your system does not meet the recommended configuration.

Violent Video Game Bill Introduced In Florida

On October 25 Florida state Rep. Sen. Alex Diaz de la Portilla introduced a bill that would ban the sale or rental of violent video games to minors, a near clone of legislation recently signed into law by California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who himself is featured in several video games based on his action film roles.

Online Gamers Willing To Pay For Play

According to NPD's annual gaming report, PS2 and Xbox online gamers indicated an increased willingness to pay for online game play, as well as interest in paying for downloadable content.
