October US Video Game Sales Take A Nosedive

Market researchers NPD Group announced that U.S. retail sales of video games in October fell to $365 million, down 24 percent from a year earlier, console game sales were around $294 million, while sales of handheld games were about $71 million.

Future 'C-S Source' & 'DoD: Source' Steamy Update #14

Valve lastest Steam Update has a few details on what to expect in the near future regarding C-S Source and DoD Source. Over the next few weeks Valve'll have updates coming for both aforementioned titles, starting with one new level for each. Last week it was announced that an updated de_nuke will be making its return to Counter-Strike, and this week Valve revealed a new DoD Source map, named Argentan. Valve also said a new game is coming to Steam, with an official announcement due soon.

Blizzard has released yet another new Warcraft III map, this time called "Justice"... Map info: "The Cult of the Damned was known for massacring remote villages to supply their ghoulish experiments with innocents. With aerial support you can send the lieutenants of their latest raid back to Hell." This is a small map size and the suggested no. of players is 1v1. It is based on the "Cityscape" tileset.
