'Untold Legends 2' (PSP) and 'Field Commander' (PSP) Coming To Europe

Ubisoft Europe is pleased to announce that it is extending its publishing agreement with Sony Online Entertainment to introduce two new games for the PSP: Field Commander and Untold Legends: The Warrior’s Code. Both games are scheduled for release in spring 2006 throughout Europe, Asia and Australia/New Zealand.

Flying Range II: Long Way Home is an action-arcade set in the year of 2026. You are the captain of the first hyperspace engine equipped battleship. You get lost in the galaxy and as the captain, it is your task to bring the ship and its crew back home. This demo is fully functional but will only let you play for 20 minutes after which you can unlock the full content by purchasing a registration key.

Valve's SteamPowered website has been updated with details regarding the latest update for its online delivery system Steam. This release updates the DoD:Source gameinfo.txt to support the Source SDK, and applies a few fixes to the Half-Life 1 engine, and a few tweaks to the H-L1 dedicated server. Just restart Steam for the effects to take place.

Rockstar Opens New Development Studio In London

Without much exposure, Rockstar's website reveals that the controversial developer is expanding its UK operations with an all new development studio in the heart of London, which up until now was mainly the European publishing headquarters. Rockstar London is looking for artists, animators, programmers and senior network programmers, which could indicate a nextgen project with built-in online capabilities. Whether this new studio is an acquisition of an existing developer, or any word on its projects, was not disclosed.
