is reporting that they have received word from a company source that Sony could miss its end-March target for the European launch of its PSP. This would effectively be the second time it has delayed the European launch, since it originally planned to release the handheld in time for Christmas last year.

Matrix Games announced today that they have signed Koios Works’ latest title in the Tin Soldiers series, Julius Caesar. Using the same general play style of Tin Soldiers: Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar makes massive improvements to the graphical engine along with numerous game changes to correctly mimic the change in armies and army tactics for the time period.

S2 will significantly improve the game - important features have been added. For example, dynamic camber (improved simulation of suspension and different suspension types), highly detailed tyre physics and a damage model have been introduced. Also the additional content in S2 should be noted - where S1 mostly contains the 'medium' fast cars and tracks, S2 introduces several 'fast' classes (and 'slow').

Sony Online Entertainment announced today that it has expanded operations with the formation of a development studio in Seattle, Washington. SOE Seattle will be headed up by Matt Wilson, who some of you may remember from Microsoft’s cancelled Mythica MMO. Ed Fries (formerly of Microsoft) will also be working with the SOE Seattle team in an advisory role, but will not be joining the company full-time.

Namco announced today it has partnered with Hori U.S.A. to offer a limited edition TEKKEN 5 premium bundle set to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the fighting franchise. Only a few days after we reported on the first details, more credibility has been given to an upcoming PC version of Climax's RPG Sudeki, as publisher Zoo Digital's release schedule now reflects a date of May 25th, 2005.
