Mythic Entertainment today announced that Steve Perkins has joined the company as Director of Marketing. A seven-year veteran of the computer and videogame industry, Perkins recently served in the same capacity at EA leading the marketing for numerous titles, including the "Battlefield" franchise. In his new role, Perkins will oversee all aspects of strategic marketing including advertising, promotions, PR and the management of Mythic's relationships with key marketing partners.

Bowling Champs is a full 3D bowling game which is part of the Sports Champs series Xing Interactive announced earlier this year. Other titles in the range are Winter Sports Extreme, Championship Soccer, Pool Champs, Amju Super Golf, Cricket Champs, Tennis Champs and the soon to be announced Shufflepuck Champs. The game is scheduled for August 27th, 2005 and will retail at 9.99 Euro.

With MoH European Assault barely in stores, EALA has already been working on the next installment in the MoH franchise for nearly six months according to GameSpot. EA sources have revealed that the new title will be a Band of Brothers (or Brothers in Arms) type title, but more importantly, it was mentioned that Airborne would be a PS3 launch title. This does not necessarily mean it will be a platform exclusive, more an indication of its scheduled released date. No further comment was given, but as the fall 2006 release date nears, more details are due soon...
