The Dice Live Team is working on a Battlefield 2142 v1.10 patch, currently in beta testing, and will include added server options and a few gameplay enhancements along with a number of bug fixes. No word whether this update will also feature the reported new maps (Karlbo et Garmisch Partenkirchen) and supply line gameplay mode.

If you need a break from the multiplayer mayhem, Ubisoft has now also released the Splinter Cell Double Agent singleplayer demo, while Take Two has issued a demo (only for North America) for its recently released basketball game College Hoops 2K7 (North Carolina V.S. Florida). Both demos are now available on Xbox Live, but for the time being only Gold members will have access to download them, silver membership holders will have to wait until next week, to shoot some hoops.

With its lastest firmware update Sony enabled PSP users to hook up to the PS3, and get playable PSOne games. The first batch of downloadable titles is now available on the PlayStation Store, each for a purchase price of $5.99. CoolBoarders, Crash Bandicoot, Hot Shots Golf 2, Syphon Filter, and Tekken 2 are now on offer, but original peripheral support and multiplayer modes will not function.

Vin Diesel No Longer Agent 47 in 'Hitman' Movie

Last year, it was reported that Vin Diesel would be starring in "Hitman: The Movie," but according to Ain't it Cool, he is no longer on the project and has been replaced by Deadwood's Timothy Olyphant ("Seth Bullock"). Luc Besson signed on to co-produce, along with Chuck Gordon, Adrian Askarieh and Daniel Alter. With a script penned by Swordfish's Skip Woods, the 20th Century Fox movie is tentatively scheduled for Fall 2007.

'Neverwinter Nights 2' - v1.03 Patch Available
