'Hearts of Iron II: Doomsday' - 4 New Screens

Hearts of Iron II: Doomsday is a stand-alone expansion pack for their strategy title Hearts of Iron II. The expansion will include the original game and boasts a World War III scenario, a complete scenario editor as well as an extended time line.

'Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess' (NGC) Pre-Orders Delayed

While it is currently still listed as scheduled for April 2006, a "change of pre-order date" email from Best Buy's customer care service obtained by Joystiq reveals that Nintendo's Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess might be pushed back to November 1st, 2006. Officially Nintendo does not comment on speculations and has not narrowed any sort of release date down beyond a vague "2006."

'GTR 2' - Features & Screens

Activision Confirms Transformers License

Revealed a few weeks ago, Activision today officially announced it has signed a licensing deal that grants Activision the global rights, excluding Japan, to develop console, handheld and PC games based on the Transformers brand. The first game will be tied to the much-anticipated July 4, 2007 movie release of the live action Transformers film.

BFME 2 takes part in the North where a battle is raging between Sauron's forces vs. elves and dwarves. It will be possible to create/customize your own hero, apart from known figures such as Arwin, and become more powerful as you progress in the game. While BFME was all land based, the sequel will also take the action on the sea, naval battles included.

'Half-Life 2: Episode One' Game Details

A Canadian research team performed a study of 100 university undergraduates in Toronto and concluded that video gamers consistently outperform their non-playing peers in a series of tricky mental tests. If they also happened to be bilingual, they were unbeatable.
