Capcom today announced that it is bringing animated series based on its Street Fighter and Darkstalkers videogames to UMD. Street Fighter Alpha: The Movie, 29 episodes of the Street Fighter II V animated series, Night Warriors Darkstalkers Revenge Alpha and Night Warriors Darkstalkers Revenge Omega.

Midway Financial Report Reveals 'UT 2007' Release Window

Today Midway released its quaterly results and dispite the fact that net revenues dropped 9% it remains optimistic for the coming year with an estimated 3& revenue increase. In the subsequent conference call Midway revealed Epic Games' Unreal Tournament 2007 is currently scheduled for Winter 2007 (Dec. 2006 - March 2007). End of last year Midway closed Australian developer Ratbag, but predicts it will hire an additional 100 over the coming year and plans to steamline its production by improving tech sharing amongst internal studios.

In an interview with EuroGamer Criterion's Alex Ward commented on recent speculations that BLACK might be making an appearance on the Xbox 360. "I keep reading all over forums that we're going to make a 360 version of BLACK, and it's just not true." Alex denied the reason that BLACK doesn't work on the X360 as a sign EA simply holding out for a possible port, but he went on to say that the sequel will be on the nextgen console somewhere in the future.
