Paradox Interactive announced that it is expanding and has opened a second office in New York City headed by Marketing Executive Susana Meza. Ubisoft also announced the opening of a new office in Dallas, Texas which will house a sales team that will focus on supporting retailers in the area and strengthening regional partnerships, spearheaded by directors of sales Ana Raphael and Linda Reese.

id Software and Activision have teamed with Universal Studios Home Entertainment to include a playable demo of DOOM 3 for Xbox as bonus content on the Unrated Extended Edition DVD release of Doom. A few days ago Activision's financial results made no mention of the console iterations for Lionhead's movie studio sim, leading us to believe the projects were cancelled. Today Lionhead issued a brief statement that this is not true, they are still in the works, and even an expansion pack for the PC edition is in development.

A few months ago we revealed Square Enix's impressive celebrity voiceover lineup for Kingdom Hearts II's characters, such as Angel's David Boreanaz, LotR's Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp, James Woods, Billy Zane, which has now been updated. Earlier today Ubisoft sent out a statement revealing that we can expect the Xbox and X360 edition of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter in North American store shelves starting March 9th, while the PC and PS2 versions will follow later that month, on March 30th.

Sunflowers decided it needed more time to polish the game and delayed its RTS Paraworld to Q1 2006, which it today revealed has been pushed back once more, now scheduled for August 2006, more than a year later than initially anticipated. Reason for the delay this time, gameplay balancing, and multiplayer testing.
