'Raid over the river DS' (NDS) - 4 New Screens

Raid over the river DS is a vertical shooter in which you play agent Carrie Collins, a pilot in an air strike quick response group of TARPA. The story begins when a tunnel opens on Earth, from which some scouts from a different dimension emerge, set on changing timelines of other worlds for an unidentified purpose.

Double Fine Wants 'Psychonauts' on the Xbox 360

When Peter Moore revealed a new BC was in the works many gamers hoped for Double Fines' most awesome Psychonauts to be amongst the lucky 20. Alas Big Mutha Truckers beat it to the punch so now Tim Schafer is calling upon the community to email Microsoft demanding them to make one of 2005's best selling titles work on the Xbox 360. Tim even offered Microsoft to fly his engineer and programmers to their offices to help with the conversion, but was turned down saying "Believe us, we have top men working on it now."

ESRB Will Impose $1 Million Dollar Fine For Failing to Disclose Mature Content

At a hearing before the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade and Consumer Protection, ESRB President Patricia Vance revealed that it will fine companies up to $1 million for the most egregious offenses. Repeat offenders could get their rating services suspended, heavily impacting sales as most big retailers refuse to carry unrated titles

FTC Support ESRB But Says Too Many Kids Can Still Buy Mature Titles

Earlier today there was a congressional hearing discussing video games, its content and laws to prevent minors from purchasing mature content. The Federal Trade Commission said it supports the video game industry's self-regulation of violent content but also stated an undercover sting operation revealed too many U.S. children (43%, down from 69% in 2003) are still able to buy Mature-rated games in stores.

Until I'm Gone is a horror 3rd person adventure featuring pre-rendered scenes, in which will move real-time 3D models of characters, something like Microids' Syberia. Originally scheduled for May 2006, the lack of funding forced Faraway Studios, who are not full time developers, to delay the project until Winter 2006.

Blizzard Denies 'Starcraft' and 'Diablo' MMO Rumors

Yesterday, blog site f13.net claimed to have picked up information from a presentation Vivendi did for investors that Blizzard plans to make MMOs for all of its franchises, and had a formula in place to do so in three years, with a $50 million budget. This morning, Blizzard strongly denied these rumors and said they were misquoted. While Blizzard is owned by Vivendi, they make their own game decisions, and no specific plans beyond the upcoming expansion for WoW have been announced.
