Activision announced today that you can now download the Call of Duty 2: Invasion premium map pack from the Xbox Live Marketplace. This map pack features five new maps for multiplayer skirmishes (costs 800 points ) that include: Antoville, France (Crossroads), St. Louet, France (Newvillers), Amaye sur Seulles, France (Normandy), Alam Halfa, Egypt (Decoytown), and Rostov, Russia (Harbor). Ubisoft Opens New Development Studio in Bulgaria

Today Ubisoft announced the opening of a new studio in Sofia, Bulgaria. Alexandru-Ion Radu, recently named director of recruitment and training at Ubisoft's Romania studio, has been appointed manager of the new studio, reporting directly to Sebastien Delen, managing director of Ubisoft Romania. The new studio is working on the Rayman Raving Rabbids PC version, as well as the yet unannounced CSI console port.

Not quite sure what to make of this, but in an interview with PSM, SCEA president Kaz Hirai made a rather surprising statement about the game prices for its upcoming PS3 console. "I think it would be a bit of a stretch to think that we could suddenly turn around and say, 'PS3 games now $99.99.' I don't think the consumers expect the software pricing to suddenly be double. So, if it becomes a bit higher than 59 bucks, don't ding me, but, again, as I said, I don't expect it to be 100 bucks."
