Crackdown pushes the action-driving hybrid genre into the next generation with the introduction of the first-ever truly 3-dimensional persistent playground, highly innovative co-op gameplay and an extensive prop interaction system. A co-op enabled singleplayer demo was scheduled for Jan. 18, delayed, and now Microsoft confirmed it is coming Jan. 23rd, 2 a.m. PST.

Aces Studio is using the Microsoft Flight Simulator X technology to develop a new version of Microsoft Train Simulator. Unrelated to our previous Train Simulator development efforts, this version will be an all-new product built on the FSX platform, although Microsoft stated that it’s too early to discuss any product details, which are to come later this year.

Yet another former Acclaim title has been revived as Codemasters is bringing Emergency Mayhem to the Wii, and supposedly also PSP and PS2, according to the latest OPM issue. Similar to the Crazy Taxi franchise, Emergency Mayhem will have you race around town from location to location, once there mini-games will ensue such as occur defusing bombs or rescue people from burning buildings. You'll be able to drive 6 vehicles such as a police car, fire truck or ambulance, in 7 cities, and 60 missions.
