'Thrillville: Off the Rails' (ALL) English Demo Available NOW

LucasArts' theme park sim Thrillville will open its gates for a whole new season in Off the Rails, featuring some of the most outlandish roller-coaster concepts ever imagined, as well as new ways to talk to park guests and a wider array of carnival games. Replacing the earlier French version, LucasArts has released the English demo (thanks Blues).

'Dragon Quest IV' (NDS) - 34 New Screens

While Level 5 are still working on bringing the newest Dragon Quest IX title the the NDS, several of its prequels, DQ IV, V and VI to be precise, are also getting converted to the NDS, with full 3D graphics. Scheduled for release this winter in Japan, no word whether Square Enix will be bringing it to Europe and/or North America.

'Combat Mission: Shock Force' - v1.04 Paradox Patch Available NOW

Combat Mission: Shock Force is a tactical military simulation depicting a hypothetical near future conflict between NATO and Syrian forces in Syria. Paradox has released a new patch, bringing their download/retail version (not the Battlefront edition) to v1.04 improve performance (multi core support), overall AI, better framerates, key areas like pathfinding, spotting, improved terrain textures and better visual representation of elevations and distant objects.

Midway's Updated Financials Reveals New Titles, Confirms Game Delays

Midway reduced its Q3 2007 expected revenue from $50M to $39M, mainly because of pushing Stranglehold (PS3) into Q4, the delay of UT 3 (PS3) until Q1 2008 and lackluster sales of BlackSite: Area 51 due to the split shipment between the X360 and PS3 versions. Their expected annual revenue has been lowered from $225M to $170M. However new installments in the Mortal Kombat and Blitz franchises were revealed.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will feature an original score by Stephen Barton, with the main theme and music production provided by award-winning composer Harry Gregson-Williams, whose work has been featured in numerous TV series, video games and films, such as "Enemy of the State," "Man on Fire" and "Spy Game." The CoD4: Modern Warfare soundtrack was performed and recorded by a full orchestra, largely at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, England.
