Sony has rolled out its weekly PlayStation Store update with tons of new material. Just like on XBL, Harmonix has released the David Bowie songpack ($5.49 or $1.99/song) while Activision's Guitar Hero III: Boss Battles Track Pack is free. Motorstorm gets new vehicles and skins ($1.99), while Resistance: Fall of Man gets its second Map Pack (two new maps, each of which is playable in all sizes and all modes for $4.99). On top of that SCEA released the full game PAIN ($9.99) , and Bethesda made Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles downloadable ($29.99).

Korean developer AcroGames, known for having contributed to NCsoft’s Unreal Engine 2 powered Lineage II, as well as Softmax’s Magna Carta series, announced that it has licensed Epic Games' Unreal Engine 3 for an unannounced project.

The Game Factory announced two hot new titles to kick off their 2008 European line-up. The Build-A-Bear Workshop game will release in the UK in March, followed by the pan-European release of Bratz Ponyz 2 in the summer, both Nintendo DS titles.

Sony has released yet another new PSP firmware update, officially bringing it to v3.73. With this update, operation of the UMD (Universal Media Disc) drive has been improved to address cases in which the UMD drive occasionally suspends and fails to reload data.

Matrix Games released a new patch for its tactical war game, Flashpoint Germany. This update brings your retail game to v1.13 and adds a handful of changes which include an improvement to browsing unit waypoints and a fixed memory leak in Windows Vista.
