Neverwinter Nights 2 is an RPG taking the player from the tiniest of villages into a sweeping tale of danger and war. Last week Obsidian released a v1.05 patch, but shortly thereafter removed it again, and have now released an updated version, which includes bug fixes, unit tweaks, general improvements and some new features.

Earlier today Civ fansite Apolyton
revealed that Civilization III and Civ IV designer Soren Johnson had left Firaxis, and teamed up with EA, which he left in 2000 to join up with aforementioned Sid Meiers studio. EA confirmed the rumor and let us know that Soren has indeed joined the Maxis team, currently developing Will Wright's (r)evolutionary title Spore.

Odin Sphere is a PS2 exclusive Action RPG featuring beautiful hand-drawn artwork put into motion to tell an epic tale of power, loss, and love. Atlus revealed the game will ship May 22nd, and that the North American version will include not only English, but also the original Japanese voiceovers.

French developer Eugen Systems, known for Act Of War : Direct Action and high Treason expansion, revealed that it is currently working on a yet undisclosed new RTS for Xbox 360 and PC, but also possible a PS3 edition. While no details or estimated release were revealed, Eugen Systems did confirm it has already signed with a world class publisher.

Marvel and SEGA have expanded their multi-year global licensing agreement to include the rights to develop and distribute games inspired by Captain America, The Incredible Hulk and Thor. Without going into detail, the latest Famitsu revealed that Namco Bandai is working on Beautiful Katamari Damacy, to be released on Xbox 360 and PS3. Featuring the familiar gameplay mechanics from previous installments, the Prince's next-gen debut will also include HD graphics, and online capabilities for both platforms. No release date has been mentioned.
