City Life: World Edition is a significantly updated version of the 3D city building and management simulation, and it will feature new maps, over 100 new buildings, famous landmarks from across the globe and a built-in content editor. Stranger is a real-time strategy game, with elements of role playing games set in a world, split in two parts, surface and a subterranean one, which are in a tenuous balance. Stranger will also feature multiplayer, although details beyond "The players may play on their own, or unite in teams" are a bit sketchy.

The furious battle of Pearl Harbor became the first in the sequence of gory sea combats. Now you can take part in all major Pacific battles of the WWII in the Pacific Storm game that is a mixture of RTS, war-game and simulator. This v1.4 patch fixes a variety of issues and enables support for the 32-bit version of Windows Vista, but not the 64-bit edition.

Devil May Cry 4 is the fourth installment in Capcom's series starring Dante, the gunslinging demon hunter. DMC4 will introduce a new hero, Nero, who possesses a demonic arm that can pull in enemies or use them as projectiles.

Microsoft announced revenue of $14.40 billion for the quarter ended March 31, 2007, a 32% compared to same period last year, driving record profits with operating income of $6.59 billion and net income of $4.93 billion. However the game division posted a drop in revenue (from $1.182 billion to $929 million), but also lost less money ($402 million to $315 million).

Elite Beat Agents, known in Japan as Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ôendan 2, promises multiplayer support for up to 4 players, but other details are not available. Originally titled Osu! Tatakae! Ôendan, adapted for Western consumption and renamed to Elite Beat Agents, the sequel is scheduled in Japan for 2007.

In this arcade shooter, players will join the heroes of the Alliance of Free Planets in their white-knuckled, frenzied struggle to free the Solar System from the tyrannical grip of the Legion of Terra. Formerly know as DK Bongo Blast and originally scheduled on the GameCube last year, Donkey Kong Jet is back in a new jacket. Slated for release in Japan on June 28, Donkey Kong Jet will feature 16 tracks, and a four-player multiplayer mode, although it was not disclosed if this would be on- or offline play.

analyzes the emergence of Taiwan's online gaming market. It estimates the online games market in Taiwan, inclusive of MMORPG and casual games, will exceed $300 million in 2007. While MMORPGs continue to represent the largest segment in the market, casual games are growing at a faster pace.

Nintendo has acquired 80% of the shares in development studio Monolith, previously owned by Namco Bandai, which still retains a 16% stake. Currently employing 110 people, Monolith was founded in 1999 and is best known for Baten Kaitos and Xenosaga franchises, not to be confused with F.E.A.R / Condemned's Monolith Productions. With this acquisition Nintendo secures exclusivity on its upcoming Wii title, Disaster: Day of Crisis.
