Effective August 4, 2007, laptop computers, full-size video game consoles (for example Playstation, Xbox, or Nintendo), full-size DVD players, and video cameras that use video cassettes must be removed from their carrying cases and submitted separately for x-ray screening. Laptop computers and video cameras that use cassettes have long been subject to this policy.

Ricochet Infinity introduces a new way to play the game by putting the player in direct control of the ball. Instead of waiting for the ball to return to the paddle, with 'Recall' players can at any time, change the ball's direction, giving the player full control over the action during every second of the game, and not just when the ball hits the paddle.

PGR 4 tries to create an emotionally-charged racing experience, where players become attached to their careers, profiles and vehicles. In an interview with C&VG
, Bizzare's Ben Ward revealed that "internal shared tech systems are running across several platforms including PC." With recent Halo 2, and upcoming Gears of War & Viva Pinata appearances on the PC, PGR would easily be portable as well.

Namco Bandai's One Piece Gear Spirit is the first iteration on the NDS, offering gamers the chance to play as 20 original characters, including digitized voices. The tactical/bottom screen is used to select spirit cards, 130 in total, and One Piece Gear Spirit also supports online multiplayer for up to 4 people.

Revealed a few weeks ago, the Blitzkrieg 2: Liberation add-on is set near the end of the WW2 and will add two new Western Front campaigns set in Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands and France, and will of course include plenty of new units, maps, and game modes.

Microsoft issued an Xbox 360 system/dash update, so if you log in to Xbox Live you will receive a prompt to accept this mandatory update. This unannounced update is minor as it merely prepares your Xbox 360 for the wireless guitars that are being released in a few months. After Vivendi released its horror/FPS FEAR in 2005, it had a falling out with developer Monolith, who was acquired by Warner Bros. in mid-development. A sequel was announced by both parties, but since Vivendi owns the tradmark right, Monolith's product can't be called F.E.A.R. 2. With 3 finalists remaining, the "Name Your F.E.A.R.
