Grasshopper Licenses Unreal Engine 3 for Multiplatform Action Horror Game

Grasshopper Manufacture has licensed Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 3 for a new multiplatform action horror game to be published by EA, produced by legendary Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami and directed by game designer Suda51.

Crystal Dynamics has made Tomb Raider Underworld more realistic with fluid movements due to motion capturing. Set a few years after the last game, it also features persistent destruction and lush locales across the globe. Lara gets muddy in the game, but with the weather system, rain will wash it away. Two new chapters will be made available for download on Xbox Live, offering 6 more hours of gameplay, as well as a demo in October.
