The New Xbox Experience will give X360 owners a new experience that is fun, social and simple to use, and puts more entertainment at their fingertips than any other device connected to the TV. On the eve of the NXE rollout, Netflix confirmed that Columbia Pictures movies, owned by Sony, are unavailable for streaming through the Xbox 360, apparently due to licensing issues.

Tecmo Merger With KOEI to be Finalized in April 2009, $207 Million Price Tag

Koei revealed today that its merger with Tecmo, known for the Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive series, will be completed by April 2009, as it plans to acquire Tecmo's shares for $207 million and will then henceforth operate under the Tecmo Koei Holdings label. Earlier this year, Tecmo turned down an offer from Square Enix.

'Bratland' Revealed - Screens

Bratland is a remake of the 1991 classic Amiga/Atari ST game Brat, where you must guide a baby, Nathan, through levels with features such as dynamite, bridges and holes. You do this indirectly, by specifying which direction he goes in, in a manner vaguely similar to Lemmings. You also tell him when to use objects in a simplistic manner similar to the Dizzy games.
