Court Approves Square Enix Acquisition of Eidos

On Feb. 12, 2009, the boards of Eidos and Square Enix reached an agreement on acquisition terms, and on March 27, 2009, 85% of Eidos shareholders gave their approval. Earlier today, a UK Court sanctioned the acquisition, followed by suspension of the Eidos shares on the London Stock Exchange. By tomorrow, Eidos will officially be part of Square Enix.

Further confirming that 2003's Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is coming to XBLA, and most likely PSN as well, is a new teaser site, counting down to next week Monday.
