Another day, another batch of games shipped to stores. Instead of giving them all their own posts, we grouped them, and so far there are announcements for:

IGPX (PS2)

In the year 2049, extreme sports are taken to a whole new level with an ultra high-speed, team battle race called the Immortal Grand Prix (IGPX). Based on the hit animated series created exclusively for the Cartoon Network’s Toonami Sunday line-up, this unique combination of combat and racing draws players into the fast-paced, cut-throat world of Immortal Grand Prix, a wicked battle of tactics, team work and lightning speed reactions.

“IGPX is about giving players the freedom to have fun, whether they’re playing through the game’s multiple game modes or customizing their own unique IG Machines with a slew of parts and accessories,” said Naruo Uchida, Vice President of Localization at NAMCO BANDAI Games. “The unique combination of high speed racing, heated team battles, and immersive customization brings an incredible amount of depth to IGPX.”

Piloting IG Machines, teams of three must race through twisting courses at speeds of up-to-350 miles per hour. Competing on over 70 roller-coaster like tracks, players must avoid obstacles and battle against opponents to bring Team Satomi to victory. Being the fastest does not necessarily guarantee winning; players will have to utilize both devastating team attacks and keen racing strategy in order to truly emerge victorious. Players can gain an edge over their opponents by enhancing their IG machines with over 100 customizable parts that can enhance their attack power and performance. Square off against over 15 of the world’s most highly rated IGPX teams, and help Team Satomi become the champions of the Immortal Grand Prix. In addition to the thrilling race mode, players will also have the choice to compete in numerous other modes, including Battle Royale and the IGPX Festival.

Developed by Sting, IGPX is rated E10+ for “Everyone 10 and older” by the ESRB and carries a suggested MSRP of $39.99.
