Another day, another batch of games shipped to stores. Instead of giving them all their own posts, we grouped them, and so far there are announcements for:

Furu Furu Park (Wii)

Developed by Taito, Furu Furu Park integrates old-school arcade fun with quirky new Japanese-style challenges into 30 fun mini-games.

"Motion-based Wii Remote play lets gamers experience beloved classics in an entirely new way," said Gui Karyo, Executive Vice President of Operations, Majesco. "Furu Furu Park's wide variety of games, colorful pallet and memorable characters create a unique experience that players can enjoy for only $19.99."

Included among Furu Furu Park's 30 different mini-games are:

  • Arkanoid: an arcade classic pitting paddle and ball against a wall of blocks;
  • Pinch Hitter: step up to the plate and take a few swings with the Wii Remote;
  • Bubble Bobble: hold the Wii Remote like an NES controller to burst all of the bubbles in this retro arcade puzzler;
  • Safe Cracker: memorize the combination then enter the code by tilting your Wii Remote left and right to crack the safe;
  • Sonic Blastman 20XX: clutch your Wii Remote and punch at the screen to destroy asteroids heading for earth;
  • Super Karate: execute offensive and defensive maneuvers with your Wii Remote to defeat your opponent.

Players can also face off against a friend in three multiplayer modes: Free Battle, Panel Attack and the hilarious Love Challenge, where romantic superhero Afro Love will judge players on their overall compatibility with each other.

Furu Furu Park for the Wii is rated E10+ and is currently available for a suggested retail price of $19.99.

Nitrobike (Wii)

Developed by Left Field Productions, the creators of Excitebike 64 for the Nintendo 64, Nitrobike allows players to navigate rocket-propelled dirt bikes in an exciting arcade-style game. They can choose to race against the clock or worthy opponents – Nitrobike features a multiplayer game mode as well as a unique online mode for up to six players.

Nitrobike features include:

  • Career mode with a total of 67 racing events for massive replayability
  • Customizable bikes and characters
  • A bowling mini-game for up to four players with king-sized pins
  • 20 unique levels with environments ranging from volcanic islands to a deserted airplane graveyard

Nitrobike for the Wii system is rated E 10+ for Everyone 10 and older and has an MSRP of $49.99.
