Gianluca Vialli's European Manager - Facts & Screens

by Rainier on Oct. 4, 2001 @ 6:31 p.m. PDT

Midas Interactive Entertainment are preparing a serious title challenge to be top of the Premiership come September with the release of "the football management game of the 2001/2002 season".
Gianluca Vialli's European Manager puts you in charge of your favourite club for the forthcoming season. Experience all the highs and lows of life in either the Premiership or Nationwide leagues or if your preference lies abroad use your management skills in Italy, Germany, France or Spain.

Endorsed by last years FA Cup winning manager, Gianluca Vialli's European Manager incorporates more than what we have come to expect in a great football manager simulation. The game re-creates 10 championships in 5 different countries, and all main club cups.

You are fully responsible for your management team, squad selections, transfer deals and ground development. The design of the ground, seating and atmosphere is also your duty and is the result of your teams' performance, ticket pricing and weekly match importance. In addition you control the clubs financial situation in terms of loan contracting, sponsors, and transfers in and out of the club.

As the manager you will not be subjected to the old style statistical information flashing up on your screen. Using engaging multimedia and highly illustrative graphics, you will be situated among the public within the stadium you have created, with the ability to view both home and away games from the stands.

Premiership Manager simulates a real match encompassing movements, crosses, fouls, throw-ins, corners and goals. Every match is made to last 90 virtual minutes, but just a few minutes of real time. A dedicated online monitor allows you to obtain basic information at any time, while operating in any screen without opening the respective windows. This eliminates tedious time wasting that has been a fault in management games past and present.

An additional feature is Hi-Camp. Hi-Camp is a new match observation system allowing you to pinpoint the opposition team's tactics and notice where on the field the match is mainly being played, you can then change your tactics to suit.

Other aspects of the true game are brought to life, for instance: lay off periods for injured players, setting individual or team training in chosen areas and working towards monthly player and manager awards.

With regular news bulletins on your own and opposing teams and a comprehensive history archive of past seasons, Gianluca Vialli's European Manager is the complete game.

It is no longer a "funny old game" it is what serious fans have been waiting for.
