'NOW' Gamer To Produce Official UK XBOX Mag Video

by Rainier on Oct. 8, 2001 @ 7:59 p.m. PDT

Network Of the World is putting the finishing touches on the launch video for the Official UK Xbox Magazine. On sale from November 15th 2001 with a run of 50,000 copies, the video features exclusive footage from more than a dozen launch titles as played on Microsoft's new console.
Titles on show include Halo, Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee & Dead or Alive 3. The 30 minute programme has been produced at NOW's state-of-the-art studio in London.

Tim Stott, Senior Producer for NOW Gamer commenting on the agreement said:

"As a creator of games television content, deals like this are of more than a passing interest to us. NOW Gamer is already looking at more gameplay compilations and 'making of' videos for inclusion on games discs.

"We're fortunate that we've had a chance to look at new ways of presenting games as third party entertainment beyond just the player perspective."
