The title will keep most of the gameplay features of the versions being developed for next generation consoles, whilst pushing PlayStation's particular capabilities, making the very best out of the hardware of Sony's 32 bit system.
According to Massimiliano Sacchi, Sales and Marketing Director at Trecision:
"The PlayStation version of "Zidane Football Generation" will be a splendid title, with regards to both gameplay and technical realization. The game is being developed using Trecision's skills and expertise on PlayStation, a system for which we have already realized 2 soccer titles. Trecision and Idoru Software are currently working together on the game. We appreciate Idoru Software's technical skills, creativity and passion for videogames, which are characteristics necessary to work in our industry. The quality of the title, the presence of Zinedine Zidane and Cryo's commercial experience will make the PlayStation version of "Zidane Football Generation" a world-wide success".
Paolo Giacomello and Diego Zamprogno of Idoru Software commented:
"We are excited to have been given the chance to work with Trecision, a well-known Italian development team whose works are appreciated internationally. We could not hope for anything better: we're developing a soccer game featuring the world's most talented player in recent years. The title has been in development for a few months only and we are confident that "Zidane Football Generation" will be an absolutely excellent title, thanks to our cooperation with Trecision who have already developed 2 soccer games on PlayStation and know both the hardware and the game genre extremely well".
