Activision, Inc. gives shoppers a jump on the holiday season by beaming down a four-pack of Phaser filled fun with the release of the Star Trek Action Pack. Currently available at retail stores nationwide, the Star Trek Action Pack contains the full retail versions of Star Trek Armada, Star Trek Armada II, Star Trek: Voyager Elite Force and the Star Trek: Voyager Elite Force Expansion Pack. The Star Trek Action Pack for the PC carries a suggested retail price of $29.99. Star Trek Armada and Star Trek Armada II are rated “E” by the ESRB, while Star Trek: Voyager Elite Force and the Star Trek: Voyager Elite Force Expansion Pack have been rated “T” for Teen.

“The Star Trek Action Pack contains some of our most highly acclaimed and best selling Star Trek titles and is a perfect holiday gift for any Trekker or gamer,” states Kathy Vrabeck, Executive Vice President, Global Publishing and Brand Management, Activision, Inc. “No other series of games allow the player to fully immerse themselves in the role of a Starfleet officer and become part of the action.”

In the Star Trek: Voyager Elite Force first-person-shooter games, players take the role of Ensign Munro, second in command of Voyager’s elite Hazard Team security force. Over the course of the campaign players will battle the cybernetic Borg, deadly Klingons and alien pirates as they attempt to free U.S.S. Voyager from a mysterious void in space. In the Star Trek: Voyager Elite Force Expansion pack, players can take an interactive tour through the USS Voyager. In addition, the expansion pack adds 21 new multiplayer maps, and new game modes like Disintegration where players use compression rifles to vaporize their opponents.

In the real-time strategy games Star Trek Armada and Star Trek Armada II, players must manage resources and construction to create massive battlefleets of Federation, Borg, Romulan and Klingon ships. Functioning as the fleet’s admiral, players must restore balance to the alpha quadrant over the course of race-specific campaigns set in the depths of space.

The Star Trek Action Pack also offers gamers a sneak peek at two upcoming titles in the form of trailers for Star Trek Starfleet Command® III and Star Trek® Elite Force II™.
