'New World Order' - New Details

Here is Jim Malmros latest NWO update!

After our 3-month burst we are finally done!

The single player campaign puts you up against some of the meanest and deadliest terrorist AI's in a game - it's definitely not easy, but very satisfying to play. To help you put the bad guys to rest we have the Satellite Commander always looking over your shoulder - showing you where the hotspots are and stopping you before you walk straight into a nest of terrorists.

Stealth is of the outmost importance in the NWO single player campaign. AI's listen for footsteps and gunfire, even switching your weapon or making any sound will alert a terrorist that is close enough to hear it - and these guys play as a team so if they get the chance they will call out for their comrades and you'll be up against an army. Silenced weapons is a necessity, and your bullets must hit their targets.

Cooperative gaming is a blast, definitely one of the strongest points on the list for NWO. Some of the most intense firefights happen in Cooperative play where the terrorists spot your team and go after you - these guys are fearless so you'll need to hold your ground.

NWO has undergone many artistic and technical upgrades, new weapon models, new animations, plenty of new and upgraded sounds. Rendering and especially the networking has been much upgraded. Everything is smoother and faster.

NWO needs a powerful machine though - as you will see on the box, the recommended requirements are 512 megs of memory and a 64 meg 3D-card. In the coming weeks we will support the community with needed tools and information, and with upgrades released for NWO.

NWO comes with DirectX8.2 in the installation.

Thanks for the support with Beta2, as that really helped us nail down both bugs and performance issues.
