'Search and Rescue: Coastal Heroes' Lifts Off To Stores - Screens

Global Star Software announced that they have begun shipping their latest addition to their acclaimed SAR series, Search and Rescue: Coastal Heroes. Coastal Heroes will include all the ultra-realistic helicopter flight and rescue operation simulation that has made previous SAR games so successful, while offering vastly improved graphics that feature a fully upgraded 3D engine from Renderware, all new missions and environments, and brand new game features that will make Coastal Heroes the most exciting and realistic Helicopter Rescue simulator ever released.

In Coastal Heroes, players take to the skies in any of 3 authentic rescue choppers to fly search and rescue missions for the U.S. Coast Guard in a brand new 3D driven environments, packed with new features such as dynamic lighting, all-new wave graphics, and a myriad of environmental effects such as weather and darkness. Coastal heroes will also feature a variety of rescue tools unavailable in previous versions, including multiple hoist devices, divers, spotlights and more. Lastly, Coastal Heroes offers unprecedented mission control options, allowing players to assess a scenarios before they begin and choose rescue procedures and techniques themselves. These strategies can even be altered mid-flight, should the situation require it.

Coastal Heroes was developed by InterActive Vision, and will hit stores this month at an expected price of $39.99. It has been rated "E for Everyone" by the ESRB. A demo version will be released later in November, hosted by Gigex.
