A new patch for Street Legal has been released, bringing the budget-priced racing simulation by Hungarian developers Invictus to version 1.2. This massive patch makes numerous changes, including new and improved cars, increased frame rate and better graphics, enhanced physics system, improved controls, gameplay tweaks and bug fixes, and more (thanks 3DGamers).

Issues addressed in Patch #2:

  • new and faster car dealer area
  • enhanced load/save options
  • better and bigger test track course
  • fixed cockpit details
  • new and fixed car wheels

Known issues with Patch #2:

  • With a Matrox Millenium G400 video card, some of the car body parts may appear metallic
  • Occasionally, when entering the Garage, the garage menu buttons appear over the loading screen and the garage graphics do not appear. The menu buttons will still work and simply selecting 'Hit the Street' or 'Test Track' etc... will fix the problem
  • Occassionally the new policeman model in the AI police car appears standing through the roof of the car

These issues will be addressed in an upcoming third patch.
