American Laser Games produced laserdisc-based shooting arcade games in the early 1990s, and Mad Dog McCree is the first to be re-released on PC CD-ROM by Digital Leisure.

The game has been completely re-encoded in high quality MPEG video and it now plays on the full range of Windows compatible computers including Windows XP. Use your mouse to shoot or, for the full arcade experience, use the Act-Lab USB light gun (www.act-labs.com). "So few games have the exciting and realistic action video and sound found in the American Laser Games titles," said Elizabeth Foster, president of Digital Leisure. "Mad Dog McCree will bring back memories for a lot of gamers!"

Mad Dog McCree is the first of the series of PC games from American Laser Games to be re-released by Digital Leisure; Mad Dog 2: The Lost Gold and The Last Bounty Hunter will also be available early next year. Fully interactive DVD versions are available now for PlayStation 2, Xbox, DVD movie players and DVD-equipped PCs.

Digital Leisure is a leading publisher of interactive DVD titles. The company acquires and remasters existing video-intensive titles that would benefit from the superior video and audio quality of DVD.
