by Thomas on Feb. 25, 2002 @ 2:20 p.m. PST

SCi today announces the signing of a licence agreement with FourFourTwo, the UK’s leading football magazine. Under the agreement FourFourTwo will endorse and promote SCi’s forthcoming football manager game.

FourFourTwo is Britain's leading football magazine, with a monthly circulation of nearly 100,000 copies. Packed with big-name interviews, high-quality reporting and headline-grabbing opinion, FourFourTwo provides the stories behind the headlines.

SCi’s game is due to be released on PC in the early part of the 2002/03 football season Terry Venables, one of the most popular and successful Football managers of recent years, and [Gabby Logan, the top ITV television presenter] will collaborate with SCi on the game. The game offers players the most realistic simulation of the manager’s role ever seen. Its unique features will include:

The most realistic 3D football action seen in a football management game. Touchline view. Don’t just watch from the stands, stand on the touchline and shout instructions. Face to face tactical discussions with players, on the training pitch and in the changing room. Real time press conferences and post match interviews Accurate statistics provided by Touch Line Data.

Unlike other games you can also begin the action in the present day or go back to the hairstyles, tight shorts and sponsor-free days of the early 1980s to re-live or re-shape the former glories of your favourite teams.

Jane Cavanagh, Chief Executive of SCi commented: “FourFourTwo has clearly established itself as the leader in its market and we are very pleased that they wish to be associated with such a unique and a high quality product.”
