'Enclave' Making Progress - Screens

by Rainier on March 17, 2002 @ 1:56 a.m. PST

Enclave is a fantasy action game with many RPG elements. In the beginning the player takes control of a fearless knight fighting his way out of a mysterious fortress. While the player can switch between both First Person and Third Person mode, his goal is to defend the lone city of Celenheim from the dark Outlanders preparing to invade.

In the fantastic world of Enclave a deep rift in the earth separates good from bad. The lands of light are prospering and growing. Surrounded by the barren planes of the dark devastated by war, they form an enclave of peace and sincerity. The rift, however, is about to close. From now on, there will be no more peace in everyday life throughout the border lands. Both empires are arming themselves for war.

In Enclave, the action-oriented role player can choose from 12 different character classes and enjoy long-term fascination in more than 24 detailed levels. A medieval fantasy ambience featuring impressive landscapes, castles, lava caves and city backdrops are bound to enchant the gamers. Ogres, gnomes, and druids tackle their enemies with numerous weapons and pieces of equipment such as swords, battle axes, and catapults. In terms of graphics Enclave features great texture variety, amazing polygon rates, seamless image formation, and, above all, breathtaking special FX. As a very special feature the players can access every part of the visible architecture. The dynamic soundtrack which adapts itself to the game, professional voice-overs and surround FX add to the already intense atmosphere.
