Currently in production at UK-based developers, Graphic State, the futuristic flight title is due for release in May of this year. Star X places the player in control of a highly advanced fighter aircraft capable of both atmospheric and space-based flight. The title is set to take advantage of both Nintendo’s handheld technology and the extensive development experience of Graphic State.

“Star X expands upon BAM!’s innovative action offerings for the Game Boy Advance,” said Anthony Williams, Managing Director at BAM! Entertainment. “Star X incorporates proven gameplay elements and a classic graphic appearance that will appeal to a wide variety of gamers.”

Through nine unique and extreme environments, players fly in aerial combat both in and above the atmospheres of the galaxy’s planets in free roaming and land fixed play modes. Players will need to successfully complete 22 intense missions and survive fierce air-to-air and air-to-land battles with
an alien race in order to save their plane A step-by-step training mode gives the best techniques and tactics to destroy enemy aircraft and perform land-based attacks. Players will also be able to enjoy four multiplayer game modes.
