Monkeystone Games is happy to announce that Baseball Mogul 2003 for the PC has been shipped to manufacturing and can now be purchased as a download in the Monkeystone Store. The latest installment in the series of highly acclaimed games from Boston-based Sports Mogul Inc., Baseball Mogul 2003 allows players to assume the role of General Manager of their favorite professional baseball team.

The Baseball Mogul series is an officially licensed product of the Major League Baseball Players Association, and includes the photos and statistics of 1500 major league players. Baseball Mogul 2003 will be available in major retail outlets by mid-April. A downloadable version can be purchased for $19.99 in the Monkeystone Store. As an extra bonus, players who buy online will receive a boxed copy of the game when it becomes available in April at a special super-discounted rate.

This rewarding series of games has been called the “computer game equivalent of a dream come true for anyone who collected baseball cards as a kid,” by Gamespot.com. The Baseball Mogul series has won awards from countless sports and gaming publications over the years, including the Sports Game of the Year award from Computer Gaming World in 1998. Gamespot.com also nominated it for Sports Game of the Year in 2001.

PC Gamer magazine reviewed Baseball Mogul 2002 in December 2001 saying "I've put more hours into Baseball Mogul 2002 than I have into any other game this year. And no, it's not just because I'm a nut for sports stats. This brilliant, endlessly involving game will take over every spare hour of a baseball fan's life. ... 89% - Excellent."
