Fixes/Changes in v1.03 :
- Fixed a bug where the mouse would freeze on the main menu of the game until it was Alt-Tab'ed down then up.
- Fixed some incorrect damage upgrades that applied to skeleton riders & halberdiers. Skeleton Riders were not receiving upgrades from the Dark Mill, since the game had them flagged as Missile Troops. Halberdiers were not receiving upgrades from the Smithy, since the game had them flagged as Missile Troops.
- Fixed a bug that stopped AI Allies (of Lord level and higher) attacking your enemies.
- Stopped Rune Item being learned from the library or the Learn Magic spell.
- Fixed some problems with the radius of affect of Chaos Plague (it was 3 times too large).
- Fixed a bug where Followers in the Campaign received 0XP.
- Fixed a text bug that said Dwarf Infantry require a Smithy.
- Added triple damage vs Dwarves for Dark Infantry & Forestguard.
- Added triple damage vs heroes for Dark Riders.
- Added triple damage vs Orcs for Woodriders.
- Fixed some incorrect values in some of the game's Skill Tables:
Hero XP Bonus from training gave incorrect amounts above 89.
Army XP bonus from training had the wrong value for 84.
- Fixed an exploit in the Army Points screen, using a trainer.
- Fixed a crash in ubi.com when right-clicking on any listbox in ubi.com.
- Stopped Succubi & Queen Spiders abusing special abilities on their own troops.
- Removed rubble from broken walls to stop an exploit with Bronze Golems scavenging their own walls.
- Fixed some problems for people connecting to ubi.com.
- Decreased the frequency of random disconnections from ubi.com.
- Fix the custom music system to work correctly from the "My Documents..." folder.
- The hero's Grand Paladin ability is now working correctly.
- Titans are now immune to poison & disease.
- An occasional crash at the victory/defeat screen has been fixed.
- Looping victory/defeat sound fx in multiplayer have been fixed.
- Fixed the display of the cost to Morph an Ancient Wisp.
- Starting Towers scale their strength to match the levels of heroes in Skirmish & Multiplayer First find the level of the highest human-controlled hero in the battle, then:
HITS are increased by 20 x level
SPEED is increased by level / 10
COMBAT is increased by level / 5
DAMAGE is increased by level / 2
This makes it harder for high level heroes to rush bases.
- Fixed a crash in multiplayer when destroying buildings.
- The Orb of Etheria (found at the end of a Campaign) now has a variety of different possible effects.
- Fixed "Learn Spell" & Library upgrades so you can learn Ice & Chaos Spells.
- Fixed the "Tough Towers" option to work with your initial towers on a set map.
- Fixed a resource exploit using a trainer.
- Fixed an issue where an AI side might build 2 Titans after a game had been loaded.
- Changed the settings of "Gamma 5" in the options screen to BRIGHTEN the screen instead of darkening it (for some players who were having problems with the gamma settings being too dark) [The reason I didn't use "Gamma 1" was that most players have this set as default, so it might be confusing if it changed for them].
- Fixed a cheat for duplicating items.
- Fixed an exploit using a trainer to gain infinite mana for the hero.
- Stopped secure heroes having access to unlockable campaign units.
- Made set items slightly more common.
- Multiplayer chat messages now stay on the screen 3 times longer.
- Fixed the video playback on some US system which was interfered by the Safedisc protection.
