Infogrames Announces 'Blender Bros.' For Game Boy Advance

by Rainier on April 16, 2002 @ 7:07 p.m. PDT

From Infogrames, Inc straight to a Nintendo Game Boy Advance near you comes Blender, a mutant dog with super long ears, in his first adventure for a handheld video game system: Blender Bros.™ Blender, leader of the Cosmos Keepers, must battle to save the universe from the evil Zooligans with the help of his allies the “Mini-Bros.” Blender is looking for new Cosmos Keeper recruits as Blender Bros. ships to game software retailers today.

“Blender Bros. will be fun for all fans of the Game Boy Advance that like great action gaming on the go,” said Steve Arthur, director of brand marketing for Infogrames’ Beverly studio. “The game has endearing characters and Blender’s ability to manipulate his environment with his long ears offers players something really unique on the Game Boy Advance.”

Blender uses his super long ears to grab items, fight and fly through seven multi-level planets with widely varying terrain in search of Buffer-Kong, leader of the Zooligans. The Mini-Bros. that he finds along the way give Blender extra powers and help in the quest to defeat the Zooligans. Mini-games add to the gameplay with multi-player capabilities using one cartridge and the Game Boy Advance Game LinkĀ® cable.

Blender Bros. was developed by Infogrames Hudson, is rated ‘E’ for Everyone and carries a recommended retail price of $29.99.
