The Looney Tunes Speed onto Playstation2 in Space Race

by Thomas on May 28, 2002 @ 7:51 p.m. PDT

Infogrames, Inc challenges players to step astride their rocket-powered space racer, rev up and takeoff in the craziest, winner-takes- all contest in the galaxy with Space Race for the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system. Shipping to software retailers everywhere today, Space Race is a classic kart racing video game where being the fastest is not the only deciding factor in who takes the checkered flag - players might have to be a little bit despicable.

Space Race challenges one to four players to choose from nine favorite Looney Tunes characters and employ hysterical ACME gags like portable holes and falling anvils in order to propel themselves into the lead as they race around 14 challenging tracks in outer space. The irreverent Looney Tunes characters available to players include Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck and Elmer Fudd, each with their own special hover racer. Three difficulty levels - Easy, Medium, and Hard - assures challenging game play for gamers of all abilities.

Space Race, developed by Infogrames' Melbourne House, is rated 'E' for Everyone and carries an approximate retail price of $29.99.
