CDV continues its internationalisation

CDV Software Entertainment AG, developer and publisher of computer games, is continuing its successful internationalisation. In the second quarter of 2002, CDV AG has signed several highly promising license agreements with well-known distribution partners abroad.

Successful conclusions of contracts

The auspicious RTS-title Sudden Strike 2 is storming international settings. Sudden Strike, the predecessor of the highly promising RTS-title has been sold more than 600.000 units so far. Sudden Strike 2, only recently published in Germany, will also be sold in Russia and countries of the GUS by the renowned distributor Russobit.

With the well-known Belgian distribution partner Mediamix, who is responsible for high sales figures in the Low countries, a license agreement has been concluded regarding the Sudden Strike Gold Edition. This bundle consists of the successful RTS-title Sudden Strike and the add-on Sudden Strike Forever.

Also, the well known add-on Sudden Strike Forever will soon conquer the distribution area Scandinavia with the Danish K. E. Media heading the successful campaign.

The Cossacks Gold Edition, consisting of the blockbuster Cossacks: European Wars and its first add-on Cossacks: The Art of War is now also available in the distribution area Korea. This guarantess a license agreement with the renowned distributor Joyon.

The particularly successful RTS-title WarCommander has seen its international sales rise enormously. Altogether, three new license agreements have been concluded for this highly requested RTS-title.

For Eastern Europe, that is the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Croatia, the license has been sold to the distribution partner Dynamic Multimedia.

At the same time, the rangers of WarCommander also invade the Asian market. In Japan, the renowned distribution partner Zoo Corporation keeps supplies coming. Last but not least, a license agreement has been concluded with the distributor Softstar, who is responsible for WarCommander's successful sale in Taiwan.
