Aspyr Media Inc. announced today that "Medal of Honor Allied Assault" has shipped for the Macintosh. Carbonized Macintosh conversion was done by Westlake Interactive. Developed by 2015 and published for the PC by Electronic Arts, "Medal of Honor Allied Assault" is a single and multiplayer 1st person shooter, based on the Quake® III engine, set during the most trying years of World War II.

"Medal of Honor Allied Assault" gives players a sense of the courage it took to survive the landings at Normandy and drive into the teeth of the Third Reich. As Lt. Mike Powell, member of the famed 1st Ranger Battalion, players embark on campaigns from the battlegrounds of North Africa, to Omaha Beach, and finally, thrusting into the heart of Nazi Germany itself. He must try to find victory while battling with over 22 different enemies, including Gestapo officers.

"`Medal of Honor Allied Assault' puts you in the middle of the action with some of the most intense single and multiplayer game play around," says Michael Rogers, President of Aspyr.

"Medal of Honor Allied Assault" not only puts players in a historically accurate settings like Omaha Beach, with realistic weather and time of day effects, but allows them to interact with 21 World War II era weapons, including Mark II frag grenades, and "sticky" bombs, and interactive vehicles, such as the M4 Sherman tank. Single player mode also offers 20 adrenaline-pumping levels with specific objectives and goals.

"Medal of Honor Allied Assault" is rated "T" (Teen) by the ESRB and is available where ever great interactive entertainment software is sold, with a Suggested Retail Price of $49.95.
