Zuxxez makes available, as of now, a fairly irregular program extension to their latest title KnightShift. This program modification replaces the German language edition with the English (UK) version. It also offers the possibility of choosing between English and German subtitles. Attention gamers on the North American continent, this MOD will also upgrade the U.S. "Once upon a Knight" version from Atari with dialogs for RPG. Additionally the modification installs, parallel to the above, the 1.01 version, which includes support for OGG Audio compression. Version 1.01 remains fully compatible with the 1.00 version in multiplayer mode. OGG Audio compression is one of the new technologies present in the Earth 2160 Earth 4 engine, integrated in advance in KnightShift. The installation of this MOD can also be reversed with the relevant option. "This Language extension is an excellent opportunity to experience KnightShift with the original English speeches and dialogues" says Alexandra Constandache, CEO of Zuxxez Entertainment. She adds, "The German subtitles will help to make some of the more difficult "old type English" passages and the handling of the story easier to understand.
