'Curse: The Eye of Isis' Ships To Stores

by Rainier on Oct. 20, 2003 @ 7:43 p.m. PDT

DreamCatcher Games today announced that it has shipped Curse: The Eye of Isis on PC in North America. Curse: The Eye of Isis centers on Darien Dane and his assistant, Victoria Sutton as they investigate the disappearance of an ancient sacred Egyptian statue. Protected by an evil curse, the statue causes madness (or violent death) to those who come in contact with it. Darien must battle hordes of zombies and evil mummies to find this statue and return it to its pyramid home before total carnage ensues.

“Curse is a true action-adventure,” comments Richard Wah Kan, DreamCatcher Interactive’s CEO, “It will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.”

The game combines third person gameplay with action phases in first person view. Players face suspense, terror and action in seven distinct worlds where even the most insignificant objects should be feared. Players are armed with a full arsenal of weapons including a shotgun, rifle, pistol, truncheon, crossbow, flame-thrower and mortar gun.

Curse: The Eye of Isis has an SRP of $29.99 and an ESRB of ‘M’. This title will ship on Xbox® video game system from Microsoft on October 29, 2003. Visit www.dreamcatchergames.com for more details.
