Jaleco Entertainment announced today that Lowrider, the rhythm-action video game featuring classic and competitive lowrider cars, ships nationwide, exclusively for the PlayStation2.

Lowrider simulates the American phenomenon of lowriding culture by giving gamers the ability to purchase and upgrade cars, install major hydraulics and choose detailed artistry to compete against other vehicles in hops, dances and cruise shows. Lowrider enables single and multi-players to compete in tournament and street events in five U.S. cities. Lowrider offers an authentic experience with 18 customizable vehicles, 18 categories of car upgrades, and a custom paint tool for personalized hood ornamentation. Drive through the Golden Days mode to begin a career in lowriding or dive into the Arcade Kings mode for immediate lowriding action.

The Lowrider soundtrack includes the current smash hit, "Get Low," by award-winning crunk artists Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz featuring The Ying Yang Twins from TVT Records. Enter the "Get Lowrider" contest for a chance to win cash toward a complete video game system, a copy of Lowrider signed by Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz, a signed copy of their certified Platinum album, "Kings of Crunk," a signed copy of their upcoming CD/DVD, "Part II," and an autographed copy of the Ying Yang Twins' latest CD, "Me and My Brother."

Lowrider is rated "T" for Teen and is developed by PCCW-Japan and published by Jaleco Entertainment. The Lowrider logo has been licensed from Primedia, publishers of Lowrider Magazine. For more information, visit www.jaleco.com/lowrider.
