Adjusting the sail trim correctly at different wind velocities will enable the player to attain maximum speeds. Over-trimming will destabilize the vehicle while under-trimming will result in maximum velocity not being reached.

Wind direction is a semi-variable, and wind velocity is a constant variable. Stunts will have to be performed for points and performance. New tracks have to be unlocked through performance. The same goes for the characters and vehicles.
